A vast array of PVCu windows, PVCu doors and PVCu conservatories are available from Thermalframe.  We can design, build and install for you:

Awning window (top-hung): Popular PVCu window design in modern architecture. Marine grade stainless steel multi-locking system. The sash has a tiered latching system, allowing the window to be left slightly ajar for ventilation whilst still securely locked.

Casement window (side-hung): Often the preferred PVC window design choice in period architecture, in keeping with the character of the home. Also incorporates the stainless steel, multi-locking system

Horizontal Sliding window: Smooth opening action. Popular for kitchens and rooms benefiting from the indoor/outdoor feeling. A more cost effective alternative to the bifold window.  Available in 2, 3 or 4 panes.

Vertical Sliding window: Double-hung PVC window sash. Classic appearance complements the original style of the dwelling with all the advantages of modern, low maintenance materials. Detailing includes optional replica decorative horns. Advanced balance mechanism. Sashes can tilt inwards for ease of cleaning.

Tilt-and-Turn window: Popular PVCu window in UK and Europe in both the residential and commercial sectors. This ingenious design of the window will allow the sash to tilt at the top to provide optimum ventilation, and to hinge inwards at the side for ease of cleaning or egress.

Garden window: Popular PVCu window especially in a kitchen setting, typically sits atop a coved kitchen bench upstand. This design is best suited to modern architecture. Creates an illusion of space and provides additional light.

Bay window: Design options include angled, box, bow and faceted bays. Combination of fixed panes and opening sashes as required. Ideally suited to both traditional and modern applications.

Reversible window: A specialist hinge and profile design for this upper storey PVC window. Initially functioning as a top-hung window, the sash continues to revolve through 180 degrees until it is completely reversed. This facilitates easy cleaning for windows in upper storey and high rise applications or where limited access is available.

Bi-fold Windows and Doors: Designed to maximise opening space aiding indoor/outdoor integration. Incorporates satin chrome hardware. Available in 2, 4, or 8 panels.

French Doors: Very appealing PVCu door unit with or without side panels. Clean lines suit both modern and period style architecture. Lead lighting and Georgian bead provide design options. Extra width can be made up with side panels which are fixed panes and/or opening sashes. All Thermalframe PVCu hinged doors incorporate a multi-point dead bolt locking system. When the PVCu door is shut, the sash is locked in several different places, preventing it from being prised open. Not only is this great for security, but the tightness of the door sash also ensures maximum weather-proofing.

Patio Sliding Doors: Constructed in various sizes to suit. The Europeans are most concerned with water ingress, therefore the PVCu sliding sash runs on the outside track. Combinations of two, three and four panels. Solid in appearance, with smart clean lines. Stainless steel housed wheels on a stainless track ensures continued functionality.

Front and Rear Residential Doors: Option for moulded PVCu panels. Particularly appropriate for exposed sites where timber units would not stand up to the elements over time. Incorporates the multi-point/dead bolt locking system for doors. There are many different designs to choose from. Timber door sashes can also be installed with a PVC frame if preferred.

Colours:  Colours we have available are Warm White, Light Oak Woodgrain and Mahogany Woodgrain. The white colour goes all the way through profile however the woodgrain finishes are a uV stabilised foil which is fused onto the profile to give the earthy textured look.

PVCu Conservatories: PVCu windows, doors and roofing systems can be incorporated into PVC conservatory designs whether a traditional bell-end style or in the more modern rectangular design. Spectacular additions to homes both new and refurbishment. PVC conservatories add much to enhance lifestyles and property values.

Ancillaries

PVCu Reveals & PVCu Architraves: Available as an option. Often requested for bathrooms, spa rooms and laundries where extremes of moisture are present at times. Also chosen where low maintenance and/or cleanliness is paramount. These are more expensive than timber surrounds so are often restricted in use.

Exterior PVCu Sills: Optional exterior PVCu sills can be fitted facilitating maintenance and providing a clean-lined look.

Facings: PVCu facings, PVCu bargeboards and PVCu soffits eliminate the need for painting. Especially appreciated where facings are in difficult to reach areas, and/or when the house cladding is in a low maintenance material.

Trickle Vents: Optional trickle vents are surface mounted to the outer frame. Colour matched to the profile, they are neat and unobtrusive units which suit most applications. Most suitable for when you are away from your home for long periods of time.

Georgian Bar: PVCu beading which is designed to reflect timber. In double glazing unit, the beading is positioned between the two panes of glass. This creates the grid effect, but ensures ease of cleaning as one area of glass. A central cruciform joins the vertical and horizontal bead.

Lead lighting: Complements both period and contemporary styles. Many designs available from grids, diamond patterns to detailed designs and coloured effects.
